Long Reach Diamond Coated Micro End Mills
Long Reach Micro Tools are designed for situations where there is a requirement to use a Micro Tool, but also reach down into pockets for milling. The tools are Micro Tools smaller than 1/8”(3mm) but also have a reach of usually 10 times the diameter of the tool. If different reach is desired, we can make special tools for the application.
CVD Diamond’s Long Reach Micro Tools are used to increase efficiency of milling in pockets where reach is required. Our diamond coated Long Reach Micro Tools are the sharpest of the diamond coated tools currently on the market which allows the machining of thin walls with less chance of breakage of the material. The diamond coating ensures that the tool stays sharp throughout the life of the tool. Long life and higher feeds and speeds increase efficiency of the machining operation by allowing faster machining and fewer tool changes.
